Fosterus determines an LRAP Award amount based on each program’s requirements. We work with a third-party payment processing service to transfer funds to the loan servicing companies along with electronic instructions called Roster Files (which are essentially the Amounts, Names, and Account Numbers). Some servicers accept ACH transactions from our payment processor, others require paper checks sent by mail.
